Please help us ensure that every family in our community can celebrate this special day with a nutritious and hearty meal. Your generous donations make a significant impact, providing much-needed support to those facing food insecurity.

What We Need:

To make this drive a success, we’re collecting the following items:

Gift Cards: Consider donating gift cards to local grocery stores. This allows families the flexibility to purchase fresh items or unique ingredients that suit their Thanksgiving meal preferences.Canned Vegetables & Fruits: Green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, applesauce, etc.Instant Mashed Potatoes & Stuffing Mixes: Boxed or bagged stuffing mixes, instant mashed potatoes.Gravy & Broth: Canned or jarred turkey gravy, chicken or vegetable broth.Canned Soups & Stews: Hearty soups and stews for warming up during the cold season.Baking Supplies: Flour, sugar, cake mixes, pie crusts, pie fillings, and baking powder.Desserts: Packaged cookies, cake mixes, canned pie fillings.Bread & Rolls: Shelf-stable dinner rolls, cornbread mixes.Canned Protein: Canned tuna, chicken, or beans.Pasta & Rice: Boxed pasta, rice, and instant macaroni and cheese.Personal Care Items: Toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and other essentials to help families during the holiday season.

There’s something powerful about giving a child a backpack. No matter their background, showing up on the first day of school with the supplies they need helps level the playing field—and opens the door to opportunity, confidence, and success.

At Rise, we’re seeing record-high requests from families in our community. Many of them are unable to afford essential school supplies. This year, our goal is to distribute 1,000 pre-filled backpacks to local students in grades K–12.

Add a few extra supplies to your own back-to-school shopping
