Overview: Join us as we prepare for the upcoming Latino Festival at Hightstown High School! As a pre-festival set-up volunteer, you will play a crucial role in transforming the venue into a vibrant and welcoming space for our community.
Volunteer Tasks:
- Unloading & Transporting Supplies: Assist with unloading festival supplies, decorations, and equipment from vehicles and transporting them to designated areas within the school.
- Setting Up Tents & Tables: Help with assembling and arranging tents, tables, and chairs in the festival area, ensuring that everything is properly placed and secure.
- Decorating the Venue: Bring your creativity to life by hanging banners, setting up signs, and placing decorations around the venue to create a festive atmosphere.
- Organizing Stations: Assist in setting up specific stations such as food booths, game areas, and information tables, making sure they are well-organized and ready for festival-goers.
- Safety Checks: Work with the team to ensure that all areas are safe and accessible, including checking that walkways are clear and equipment is properly secured.
