What We Do
Rise's Food Pantry stands as a beacon of support and nourishment within our community. We are more than a pantry; we are a lifeline, providing sustenance and empowerment to individuals and families in need.
Through collaborative efforts with Mercer Street Friends and esteemed local partners like farms, restaurants, and retail giants, we curate a diverse selection of both perishable and non-perishable goods. This bounty, enriched with USDA commodities, forms the cornerstone of our integrated food pantry and nutrition-based program.
But we are more than just providers of food. We are educators, advocates for healthy living. Our dedication extends beyond the pantry shelves; we offer knowledge, guidance, and resources to encourage healthier lifestyles among our cherished clients.
Volunteers, drawn from worship groups, businesses, and the vibrant fabric of our community, are the heartbeats that keep our pantry thriving. Their dedication ensures that our doors stay open, our shelves stocked, and our mission alive.
Yet, we are more than a pantry's physical presence. We are a haven, a place where compassionate Rise Case Managers stand ready, year-round, to serve the holistic needs of every family. Beyond our regular hours, emergency food packages wait in our office, a safety net for those in urgent need.
Opening our doors on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings and two Wednesday evenings each month, by appointment only.
Our location at 133 Broad Street in Hightstown is a deliberate choice—a symbol of accessibility and convenience for the families we passionately serve.
At Rise, we stand united in our commitment to nourish bodies, minds, and spirits, fostering a brighter, healthier future for all.
