Welcome Novo Nordisk Volunteers!
We are excited to welcome the Novo Nordisk team for a special Day of Service with Rise. Volunteers will be supporting both the Rise Pantry and Rise Thrift Store & Annex through a variety of projects that help us serve local families and keep our programs running smoothly.

Please review the volunteer opportunities below and sign up for the area where you’d like to serve.
Rise Pantry – Thanksgiving Shopping Volunteers
Drop off Location: Rise Pantry | 133 Broad Street, Hightstown, NJ
Tasks Include:

“Shopping” for Thanksgiving meals

Sorting and organizing nonperishable food donations

Restocking shelves and staging meal boxes for pickup
Parking & Drop-off:
Please drop off any donations at the pantry and then park at 156 Maxwell Avenue.
For safety and space reasons, please leave personal belongings in your vehicle, as space inside the pantry is limited.
Point of Contact:
Juan, Julia, and Iohann will be the on-site contacts for volunteers assigned to the Rise Pantry.
Rise Pantry – Support Volunteers
Location: Rise Pantry | 133 Broad Street, Hightstown, NJ
Tasks Include:

Sorting and organizing food donations

Stocking shelves, coolers, and storage areas

Light cleaning and pantry organization
Parking & Drop-off:
Please drop off any donations and park at 156 Maxwell Avenue.
Please leave personal belongings in your vehicle during your shift.

Rise Thrift & Thrift Annex Volunteers
Location: Rise Thrift Store & Annex | 114 Rogers Avenue, Hightstown, NJ
Tasks Include:

Sorting and organizing clothing and household donations

Tagging, hanging, and arranging merchandise
-
Tidying and cleaning sales floors and back areas
-
Assisting with light setup in the new Thrift Annex
Parking:
Please park in the municipal lot behind the Thrift Store (114 Rogers Avenue) or along Main Street.
Please leave personal belongings in your vehicle, as space inside the store and annex is limited.
Point of Contact:
Hernan and Erin will be the on-site contacts for volunteers assigned to Rise Thrift and the Thrift Annex.
Additional Notes:

Dress Code: Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for light physical activity.

Flexibility: Tasks may change and vary throughout the day based on the current needs of Rise, so flexibility and teamwork are essential for this Day of Service.
